Special Colors

In an accessible template, nothing should be left to chance. The colors used as main colors should be accessible and meet the criteria set by WCAG 2.0 AA & Section 508 standarts:

• Contrast between color and background is at least 4.5:1.

• Color is visible by color-blind people as a color that has a contrast of 4.5:1 with the background.

After much consideration 3 colors were selected, one of which was selected as the color for the template. The other two are given as alternatives:
