Mark Washington, Member

Greetings, I'm Mark Washington, a product of the New York City education system in the Bronx. I’m the parent of a child who attended Bronx Leadership Academy 2 where I began my participation in parent leadership as the PTA President, serving in 2003 and 2004.

As a retired New York City correctional officer, I've been raising my grandson since 2017, and am actively participating in his school's PTA, School Leadership Team (SLT), and representing Title 1. I’m dedicated in being an active member of the Community Education Council of District 29, continuing my civic duty as a community partner within the district, and looking forward to being a positive asset to the community in which I serve.
